Hey everyone. I graduated from GWU's accelerated BSN program in May of this year. I had 2 job offers before I even graduated/took the NCLEX. I'm happy to answer reasonable questions about the program, so feel free to PM me! Good luck!Mindy

Hi Mindy - I recently got accepted into GWU's accelerated BSN program. Can you tell me some of the pros and cons of the program from your experience? Thank you in advance for your help!

Congrats on getting into the Veteran BSN program! I'm working on my last two classes to get into the program and will be applying for Fall of 2015. Unfortunately, my GPA isn't the greatest, 3.4. Hopefully I'll be able to bring something to the table to be accepted. I'll be submitting my application within the next week or so.

Hey Guys!
I am looking into going to nursing school after I graduate this December but most programs are so excited. I have heard that if you go to GWU and then work for George Washington Hospital for a few years that they will pay back some of your tuition? Does anyone know if this is true? Or of any cheaper schools in the DMV area? I am willing to get my Associates degree and then go back for an RN to BSN Program.

Hi @Mindylane,
I'm applying to ABSN in the next cycle and I have specific questions about the admissions process. My science GPA is excellent but my general GPA is not. I did not do well in my undergrad 15 years ago. However, I have done well in my science courses - all A's. And have a graduate degree - non science, 3.99GPA as well.
How much weight do they place on general GPA?
Thanks!
