George Washington ABSN Spring 2014

Published

Hi guys!

Congratulations to all that were accepted already! :yes:I know the application deadline is 10/1, but I received my email last week. My prereqs were finished August 15th. I am excited and at the same time nervous about leaving work and starting school full-time. I heard that there will be about 55-60 students in our cohort.

I love Virginia/DC and the fact the GWU is a great school makes it even more surreal. I am awaiting the orientation date, but hopefully will visit before then. I am from the NYC area and look forward to meeting everyone!! I was actually also accepted to a school upstate NY, (12 month program starting in Jan as well) but the winter months are brutal!!

Did anyone look into housing yet? I've heard that VA/DC/MD traffic is among the top worst in the country. Let's get to know one another. Best of Luck to everyone!

If the above doesn't work, send a message to 'ERICA CHANEL' on Facebook and you will be added by the end of the day.?

Erica Chanel (HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY--JETBLUE--NY)

Guys, I just logged in under a friend's account to see how difficult it is to find the group. PLEASE COPY AND PASTE THE GROUP NAME BELOW in the search field, if your first attempt fails then type it as shown below. I edited the name so that it populates easier. Thanks! Please feel free to message me on FB to be manually added if you continue to have difficulty.

Maybe it's under "secret" which means unless you are part of the group u can't see it... The "closed" group would be seen but not secret..

Still cannot find it, but I message you on facebook Erica Chanel.

Thanks for your patience . I have contacted FB in regards to the issues some most of you are having finding the group.

The only feedback I received is that the group is set up to be found by all users on FB, but searchers must type everything exactly as the group name.

Thanks

P.S. It may be easier to search for me and send a FB msg

Yay now it's seen)

This is a random question but does anyone know if there is a gym facility at the VA campus that students can access? If there even is one I assume it would be tiny. I'm just curious. Thanks

I'm planning to start there in the Spring. Just recently decided. I cannot for the life of me find the facebook group. Erica, I sent you a facebook message. It will be in your "others" folder. First name Ashley :)

I went to go look at the campus recently -I asked if they have a gym, and they do. It is accessible 24 hours!

Ok. Yes, all of the messages I've received are delivered there.
