I will be taking patho this fall if you have taken this class tell me what is it like. How hard were the test. Do you have a lab?? What type of assignments did you do??

Patho has been my favorite class so far in nursing school. A lot like A&P, but focusing more on what can go wrong, not how it's supposed to work. Many people found it very hard, but since I enjoyed it I found it quite easy. Just be sure to read the book!
I'm sure each school is different regarding the tests and assignments. We didn't have a lab with ours.

I found patho to be very interesting but alot of memorization. A great help for me was the "Memory Notebook of Nursing Volumes I & II." The books have cartoon pictures and phrases to help memorize disease processes.
We had no labs or homework, just tests that were pretty difficult. If you keep up with the notes and reading you'll do fine! Good luck in your course. :)

I enjoyed path. Just 3-4 exams. No labs or anything. You'll learn a lot!

Same here about a few hard tests but no homework or labs. We really didn't even have reading to keep up with in mine because he did all his own outlines that we filled in and the book was only for if we didn't understand and needed to use it as reference. Hard 'A' but I enjoyed it.
