What to wear???

What is everyone wearing for graduation this year? Last year I wore a dress for my LPN grad, but I'm thinking of capris this year. The gown is long enough that no one would ever know the difference...

 24 more days!!

WOOT! I found a dress for the pinning ceremony! It is black and has spaghetti straps and is tea length. It is sheer material with a black silk slip sewn in. It is so pretty! It has little rhinestones on the straps. I tried on so many dresses and this was the one. I bought a really pretty wrap for over my shoulders.

For graduation I got a sleeveless lavendar colored dress. It is pretty much straight up and down with small purple flowers on it.

Ok, now I am still looking for shoes.

That will have to wait a while.

Maybe I can post some pictures on here after graduation.

We will be expecting pictures of both the pinning and graduation.

Many heartfelt congrats to everyone who is graduating! :D You've all worked hard to get here & have earned every bit of relaxation & happiness that you'll be getting! :balloons:

Don't know what I am wearing for pinning yet, but I want to be comfortable and as cool as humanly possible for graduation. Our cap and gown is BLACK!!!

Praying that the Southern Cali heat doesn't kick in until after graduation!!!

TeleNurse,

I did decide on the hair...much easier than the dress!

I am having it all pinned up and curled on the ends. Sorta like a piled look. My hair is layered all over so the front will be culed around my face and little whisps of hair left down in the back and at the ears. My hair is short now so I think this will work. I am going to my hairdresser on the 12th for a trial run. Hope it works. I got the picture from a magazine...you know how that can be........

I guess I will probably wear mine down, and flip the ends. It sucks because my hair is so fine and thin, it needs a ton of products to hold a style.

I think everyone is so lucky to be able to pick what you want to wear, and you get to wear gowns. At my school we all have to wear our all white-polyester nursing outfits. I suppose it's better then dresses and caps, but still... :)
