I'm not in clinicals yet, but just wondering. Also, do you pick what you want as long as it's white, or whatever, or do you have a specific uniform? And shoes? I really don't care what I wear, but please don't tell me you wear those caps! I saw some in my bookstore! :angryfire
Think 'Cafeteria Lunch Lady' and all we're missing is the hair net....white uniform with a double breasted apron sort of thing that buttons on the front of the top and zips in the back...oh yes, must not forget the teal piping too.... ahh...can't wait to be finished!
Oh yeah, and we had to order 2 of them at $55 each...we can wear any pair of white pants.
We have to wear Blue(sorta bluegreenish) scrub pants with the matching v neck
top and we have to have white lab coats with all white tennis shoes. I chose
the new New Balance that are white leather with the N trimmed in grey. I have
to take them to get approved cuz I would hate not being able to wear my cute NEW B's. Don't get me wrong, I like em cuz they are the cutest and most comfortable shoes I could find that didn't look like orthopedic shoes and they aren't expensive( 2 for $99) at Footlocker.
I haven't seen ours yet, but the letter they sent me said we'll have a green top with khaki piping and the school logo on it, white pants (elastic- ugh! no drawstring), a white lab coat with the school logo, and I don't know what the shoes will look like. I'm glad we don't have everything white, but I'm sure they've chosen the ugliest, most outdated looking scrubs and shoes, anyhow. :chuckle

Ours isn't so bad...white pants (which I hate), teal polo shirt with school logo and a white lab coat with teal accents. All in all I've actually received many complements on how professional it looks.
