What color is your uniform?

for school/clinicals?

Reading the buying scrubs thread and thinking about all white... just curious if white is the norm for most schools, or if any others have a little more color! LOL :)

All white with some garnet and gold stripes on the arms. I look like a pharmacist when wearing it plus the shoes are just hideous. I fully expect two years of ridicule from my non-nursing friends.

I know last year they were Royal Blue...both shirt and pants. I don't know if they will change the color this year or keep it the same. A couple of years ago it was a ceil blue top and white pants. I know, too, the CC here in town has all white. I sure hope they didn't change from Royal Blue to white...

Our scrub tops are white with light blue and dark blue piping around the sleeves, our school crest in a patch on the left sleeve, and a zip up the front, with white scrub pants. We also have a choice of two styles of lab coats (collared or not; I choose the collar style because I think it looks more professional). We can wear any white leather, thick soled and slip proof shoe, including athletic styles. The good thing about our scrub tops, despite the zipper (reminds me of the McDonald's uniform I wore back in the '70s) is the princess seam styling; they're not quite as "boxy" looking as some scrub tops I've seen. Even if you're on the heavy side, they are at least somewhat fitted. We have our final fitting and pick up on the 25th.

My school is all white. The only nice thing is my class was able to pick out whatever styles we wanted. Starting in this upcoming fall semester, the school has opted to go with uniforms. Luckily we were exempt from that requirement. I like that even though we're in all white, we don't all wear the exact same tops or pants.

Ours are eggplant with a white lab jacket.

I prefer the shale blue color.

I swear to God I hope they have guy uniforms or I'm going to be aggravated!

out tops are white v neck with a school crest patch on the left sleeve (which is maroon) They have two large pockets at the bottoms. The tops are so boxy and stiff I instantly gain 20 pounds when I put it on. Our pants are navy blue. They were so expensive (although new incoming studnets now have a cheaper option) But after a year of clinicals, they stil look brand new. VERY high quality from Dove uniforms. Our shoes just have to be white.

Well, I guess I could answer my own question huh? LOL

I haven't applied to nursing school yet, so I'm not sure. I have a feeling the school I'm going to has white uniforms with the sleeve patch... but I'm crossing my fingers for something other than white - I'm such a klutz!

The rad tech program I could have gone to this fall had nice hunter green scrubs! hehe :D

All white. We have blue patches on the sides of the arms. They remind you of the Salvation Army uniforms.

Our uniforms have a white zippered top with a patch on the left arm with navy blue trimming. Our pants are navy blue. I'm glad that it is other than white but I wish we had a fitting before we ordered them. I had to send mine back because they were too small!!!!!

I'm so excited about starting school on August 25. I'm going to try to journal all of my experiences in clinicals.

:)

EMMY

I saw someone in my school who was wearing shale blue scrubs.

I hope thats our color, they are very gender neutral ;)
