Nursing Students General Students
Published Mar 4, 2004
Hello, everyone!
I am a pre-nursing student starting to study at the nursing school this fall, hopefully.
What's your plan this summer?
I am looking for the summer job on campus now.
I wish you have a nice semester.
Spring break is coming! Cheep up!

I am supposed to be taking a couple of classes, probably Nursing Research, and Nursing Management... two that I dread b/c they sound so boring...required for our program but not clinical classes. I would like to just take a break this summer but I probably won't since it'll just mean more work later. At least they should be online so no 110mile commute.

I'll be working full time, probably nights, as an aide and a ward clerk at one of the local hospitals. I find working as an aide is probably the best thing you can do if you are in or getting ready to enter nursing school. Of course, you'll probably get talked into working weekends during the year. Right now i'm taking 16 credit hours during the week, then working night shifts on fri. and sat. nights.....Life? I don't need no stinkin' life!
....Well, except for one week in Florida this summer, lol.

I am going to bust my butt working full-time, studying some RN dosage calculations and reviewing A&P. Then at the end of the summer I am going to take a Carribbean cruise right before the start of Nursing school this fall. I owe it to myself.
I owe it to myself.
I'm taking Microbiology this summer and going to try and bump up my hours at work a bit. I'm saving the cruise for when I graduate (God willing!) in May 2005!!!!! That will be my husband's and my 10 year anniversary present/my graduation present!!! I can't wait! :)

Everyone needs a week in Florida over the summer!! Navarre Beach/Destin/Ft. Walton is my fave! Only about a 3 hr drive from where I live.

Already a freshman but during the summer I plan to take Micro and may add Sociology in there to lessen my course load during the junior year.
