What kind of shoes do you wear to clinical? We must wear white, leather shoes that lace up the front. They can be sneakers as long as the emblem on them is small & not flashy. Do you have any suggestions?:)

I found a good site for finding shoes and clogs online. It is http://www.scrubsandclogs.com

I have been an RN 4 years & have worn SAS "Freestyle" shoes, which are white. lace ups, & look kind of like Reebok tennis shoes. They cost me a whopping $110/pair, but my feet never hurt, even after 12 hr shift & they are well worth it. I LOVE them!!!:roll

i wear white skechers and i think they are really comfy. i would like to try the clogs but we aren't allowed to wear then to clinical.

i also wear skechers, and i think they are the most comfortable shoe i've come across yet. prior to nursing school, i worked as a server. i went through every brand of shoe you can think of. reeboks are ok if you don't get the ones with air in the sole...it tends to break and then it cracks with every step you take. all the nikes i've owned have just not been comfy after 12 hours. avias are ok. don't buy anything cheap if you have foot problems like i do. walking on concrete will kill you!!!!!! :D

In my 4 year experience as a nurse I have tried many styles of shoe from the athletic (nike, reebok, sacony) to clogs, to kiking shoes. I find that you get what you pay for and I have just seen too many deformed feet in my career to even attempt to wear a shoe that did not fit or support my foot properly. Not everyone likes the fit, but I swear bu Merrells. They are so comfortable and have many styles from leather upper clogs, to ventilated to lace up. They even have a sandle. I prefer th jungle moc. I even have a pair that I wear on the street.
