Does anyone have an easy way to remember which one is the oxidated and reduced...which one is the reducing agent or oxidizing agent and which one is the reductant or oxidant???
I am getting it all confused!

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but it may help. To remember which is oxidated and which is reduced our instructer gave us a mnemonic, Leo the German: Lose Electons Oxidation, Gain Electrons Reduction. Not all of the letters have a word(the and man have nothing).
Yes that is it! Thanks :)

I always just remember that they are the opposite of what they seem. It is confusing I agree.....lol I like chemistry but this is one part of it I hate!!
But I just remember that its the opposite....reduction is gaining and oxidation is lossing. RG-OL
