How about a thread that will allow us to introduce ourselves to those who are new and the new students can do the same.

I took this last year off from school to work full time in a level one trauma center/ ER. working here has confirmed my decision to be a nurse, and the experience ive gained from this opportunity could never be replaced. Im excited to get to know all of you through this journey!
Hi Austone, I just wanted to direct this reply to you. It is great to see more male nurses in the profession. It is difficult for everyone and I think that the challenge we go through can only make us different people from before. All for the good, ofcourse. Welcome and hang in there. Good luck!!
LPN2be here in 2004.
26 year old female here living in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Not married, no kids, shared custody of one dog, which is in my avatar. Single woman in search of a social life despite 2 jobs and nursing school. Oh well at least the jobs and the school are working out just fine
Hi All,
I'm Stacy, 20yr old momma to Skyler, who is three. I just started my pre-reqs for an ADN this summer. I work as a CNA right now, and can't wait to actually get into nursing school. I am getting into nursing after the loss of my second daughter, Zoe, who passed away in February due to complications from surgery at two and a half months old.
I am a 33 year old married mother of 2 great kids. I just finished the 3rd semester of a 5 semester ADN program. Will start semester 4 on Aug. 20.
I am the happy owner of a 3 year old Spotted Draft filly that I simply adore. She is a sweetie. When not at school or studying, my kids and I spend most of the time riding.
Can't wait to get back to class . We are officially "seniors" !!!!
