I am 26 years old. I am married and have a 13 month old son:monkeydance: . I went to college from 98-02 but did not quite finish a degree in communications. Finally decided what I wanted to be when I grow up. Now I am back in school to get my BSN:nurse: . I am finishing pre-req's this year and should be able to start clinicals Fall 07. I will graduate in November 09. Seems like 100 years away. Lots of work. Wish me luck!

Hi! My name is April and I am in my second year of a BSc.N. program in Edmonton, Alberta. If all goes well I'll graduate in either May 2000 or Dec. 2008, depending on how motivated I'm feeling! I am getting married in February, so that adds a ton to my already tight schedule. I admire all of you moms out there who are furthering your educations! You are amazing! Some days I think I'm going to go nuts and I only have myself to take care of!

Just want to say hi...I am a 36 yr old mom of 3-15y/o twin girls and an 11 y/o girl...in my first semester of clinicals in a BSN program in WI...hope I actually get to look at this site once in a while :wink2:

Hi Cindy, Leandra, and K9'sMom! I'm Jennifer, a 43 yr old mom of 6 in a diploma RN program. I'm getting ready to begin my critical care rotation and I'm nervous and excited! I graduate in June. My children are 4, 7, 13, 16, 20, and 21, so it's not as bad as it sounds . School's been tough but I love every minute. Clinicals are challenging, can be frustrating and overwhelming some days, but are always rewarding and I learn something new each and every time I go onto the floor. Glad to meet all of you and best of luck!

I'm Shaun, just got accepted to Union's 12-Mth BSN program, single/no kids; right now looking for grants. That program's 30K!

Hello everyone,

I am waiting to be accepted in the Spring '07 Nursing Program. I am 35 years old and a married mother of 3. A 5 year old, 3 year old, and 2 month old. I am praying that I get in. I've recieved the letter from the school informing me that I have to come in to take the NET test. I am nervous and excited but I don't know if my marriage can stand this weather. If anyone has any advice please send it my way.

Thanks.:uhoh21:

I'm Tiffany, 25, and I begin a LPN program in Jan. '07 & plan to bridge over to a ADN or BSN program. I eventually want my MSN. Ive been married for 6 years and we have a 6 & 3 y/o little girls. I work at a physical rehab on the weekends & hope to continue my employment there while I am in school. I have no idea what area of nursing I want to do but I do know that I would enjoy a flexable schedule (lol..ya right!).

Good luck to everyone!

I'm Hope... 36 year old divorced mother of two (11 and 6)... starting ADN program in January and currently working as a CNA/PCT in a hospital on a med/surg floor. I absolutely love where I am now and am planning to work through school and continue as a GN and RN after that. Good luck to all... looking forward to a couple of crazy years! :)

Hello, I'm April, 26 years old. Finishin up PN program. I take the boards in December if all goes well. I havent decided on what to do next, MS Healthcare Administration or RN first. I'm going to see if I can do RN part-time (one class a semester) and full time MS. By my calculations I will have both in 6 years. lol...I know sounds crazy but a try is all I can do. I'll try it for one semester to see how things go. I have no children, not married (not yet), and that's pretty much it. And that's me in a nutshell.
