hello everyone,
i just wanted to share with you my moment of joy. i received my letter of acceptance to an ADN program. i start in the fall 2005.
i wish everyone the best of luck as they wait for that special letter. i was not nervous about opening up the letter because i wasn't expecting it until next month, so, when i received it (thinking it was about my financial aid) i opened it right up. it wasn't until after i saw that i was accepted that i realized what it was. i ruined what would have been the heart pounding anxiety of opening up a letter of such importance :chuckle
i wish everyone lots of luck and i am proud to now be a nursing student.
sincerely,
j.b.

I remember when I received my letter of acceptance. The only influx of joyful emotion :roll that surpassed it was when I found out that I had passed the NCLEX-RN. I couldn't resist doing a little jig both times (thankfully, I was alone )!
Congratulations!!!

Don't let people scare you into thinking it's going to be terrible. Before I started Nursing School everyone kept giving me comment after comment about how hard nursing school is and how you have no life and I was so psyched out about it it made the whole process even more nerve racking. After about a month I realized I needed to calm down, and I decided that I would have a life and do nursing school as well, and I did. Every once in a while you have to say--I'm not studying for this test, I am going out with my friends. Having a calm mind will help you learn better the next day. If you really like nursing, than Nursing School is not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.
Good Luck and have fun!
