How long does it take your instructors to post your grade??

I get frustrated waiting for grades too - especially this near the end of the semester.

I'm not in nursing classes (yet) - but I turned in some Chem lab reports nearly a month ago, and STILL haven't gotten a grade back on them yet.

We get our grades right after taking the test.

Hah! We have on about every third week. So far, they have only posted the first two exams and thus far we have taken 6. However, I will say that our current instructor for Med Surg. is really on the ball and will go over the exam with us after we take it so we know right then and there which questions we got wrong and how we scored.

My clinical instructor, though, has always been excellent at getting our care plans, assessments, etc. back to us within a week.

We go over the tests quickly after the test, but our instructor says she'll post the official grades "when she gets to it." :rolleyes: Drives us all nuts.

Usually my instructors are really good about posting exam grades the same day (on line), but we had to turn in a 6 page ethics essay (which they're counting as an exam grade - 40 points) 1 1/2 weeks ago and there still is no grade. I'm so antsy about my grade. I do realize how much work it must be to grade 70 6-page essays, don't get me wrong...but I still think she's been given enough time! I want to total my points to see what I need on my final Monday to keep my 4.0 in my Theory class. Urghh! :stone Not looking for advice or anything, but just wondering if you all go through the same thing?

It takes my instructors usually a week to post them, or maybe longer. It irks me cuz I'm paying lots of money for the program and I'm required by my teachers to have my butt on time, to have all my work completed on a time schedule. Yet they can't even post a test in a reasonable time frame.:angryfire

Yup. We've waited that long for some marks. One girl just had her final evaluation last week on clinical work she did LAST TERM! To say our profs are a little overworked is something of an understatement.
