What are you doing to celebrate this special day?
I am making a big dinner for my mother in law and am calling my mom in FL to say I love her.
My kids woke me up with cards they had made and they are being so sweet!
Mom's are so important! I commend all you mommies out there for your hard work and love. Good mommies are hard to come by-you should be proud of yourself!

I'm going to work at a local chicken restaurant ... And of COURSE, since it's mother's day, it's gonna be an absolute zoo.
I did talk to my mommy tho, and wished her a happy mothers day :)

I got a great card from my oldest son with a note so sweet it brought tears to my eyes...and along with that was a gift certificate for an 60 minute full body massage. I'm simply overwhelmed at his thoughtfulness.

My husband made breakfast for my youngest son (two other children are out of town with grandparents) and myself this morning. I got cards and flowers.. Anyway, my husband had to go to work but the little one and I went out to eat and shopping. It was a nice slow paced day..
Then comes my youngest with a huge DQ cake...the calories don't count the same on Mother's Day, I hear.

It's true ! They really DON'T !!! My walnut fudge calories were tongue-tied today... they didn't say a word, much less count !
Happy Mother's Day to ALL !

Well, its just me and the girls today, (hubby gone with Army)... so I took my 5 yr old and 2 yr old to the Renesance Faire today. We had such a good time. Dressed up like "Ladies" and went to a tea with the "Queen".
My daughter gave me a #1 mom coffee cup (took her to Walmart last night so she could pick my present) and a new makeup bag. Her teacher at school also let them dress up like in the 20's and took a black/white pic of them individually, and made it into a card. What a surprise! It is soooo preciouse. I absolutly LOVED my day!
Happy mothers day to ALL!!!

I went over to my mom and dads and we had a cookout- bbq ribs, homemade potatoe salad, salad, dessert, homemade bread, and a ton of Coke...lol It was GREAT and a lot of fun. My SIL and brother and all were there to- we had a blast...the kids played out in the sandbox and ran around outside, the weather was sooo nice today.
My kids (5 yrs and 16 months) picked me out some candles, bath stuff and cards which I just LOVED. I just love anything they pick out themseves for me!
Hope everyone had as good a day as I did!!! Happy mothers day to all the great moms on here!!!

My Mothers Day was nice even after we had tornados all over the place last night and the alarms went off here 3 times.... I didnt do much just took it easy until late in afternoon and my DH and I went to a visitation (hate them but DH godfather) and then went out to eat with my in-laws and they invited my mother who was in town... DH and kids gave me a Zire Palm Pilot last night it was my DH idea and I am so proud of him cause he usually doesn't do well on presents..... He also had me order a stethoscope online today that I wanted. Another great thing is my last final is tomorrow at 7:30 AM (UGH) and I am done for a whole week then start more classes!!! HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all you wonderful Mothers and even those not yet a Mother
