Didn't have any cake - although my Mom did buy cupcakes (she doesn't cook sweets at all). I'm not really a big cake person anyway (although I do love cheesecake), my kids of course enjoyed those though!

My folks did fix me dinner - very yummy - teriyaka grilled tuna, fresh steamed asparagus, potato leek soup, mmmm :)

Yep, I'm 27 today... a little nervous to be getting ever closer to that mystical number 30, but I'm like a fine wine or cheese, just getting better with age, bay-bay! LOL:)

Happy Birthday Manna!!! Just so you know - at 27 you're still a kid - so enjoy it. Don't be afraid of hitting 30 (wrinkles and gravity don't get you until at least 40) - it's great and a time when you finally feel "grown up". The meal your folks cooked for you sounded so yummy - they must be great cooks. Hope you had a blast!! Susan
