after weeks of agony, my acceptance packet finally arrived today! I am officially in the class of 2006! wahoo! I just had to share my excitement, my hubby doesn't seem too excited as he "thought I would get in all along" anyway, thanks for letting share!

I'm such a nerd cause I actually was doing a happy dance in the kitchen, while my hubby laughed at me. Oh well, I don't care!I am going to be in a radiologic technology program. I started out going in to nursing, but it's just not for me. Rad tech is a much better fit. It's 24 months long and once I get done with that I hope to go into an MRI program that is 6 months long.
How about you?
I'm starting a two-year RN program in August...I'm freaking out! Good luck to you & keep us updated on your "back to school" experiences!
oh I didn't mean to sound like my hubby wasn't excited for me or supportive. I guess he just has more confidence in me than I do. :chuckleA
I know exactly what you mean. It's like I sweated and sweated about getting in, but my husband said he knew all along I was going to get it. Heck, he even asked me one time how I felt about it and I said "If I were talking to someone else with my application points and GPA I would say there's no doubt, they've got it" But because it was me I was talking about I couldn't allow myself to believe it until I saw it, there was always something that could go wrong! So when I found out I was soooooo excited, it was the culmination of years of hard work. The tears were streaming down my face when I told my husband. Later on my husband said "Did you see me tear up when you told me?" I was like "No, I couldn't see anything through my own tears!" He was just so happy for me, but he wasn't "excited" because he said he already knew :kiss
