what information was covered in the SNA meeting?
Only 8 wks of NS Sem 1 left!!!!!! Yeahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(trying to get motivated here)
At ECC, we had a 3rd semester student do a presentation on surviving nursing school which got better once the camera was turned off. She did the presentation as an assignment for the PhD she's working on simultaneously at TWU! Did Northlake have one today too?

Yang and Jaxia how are clinicals going for you all?
I had a better experience today, much better than the first day. I'm just not thrilled to be at clinicals...just STRESSED OUT!
Any advice from 2nd or 3rd sem students would be appreciated on how to fake it until you make it...
Where are 4th sem students?
You have a tough clinical instructor, which makes it hard to enjoy it. Being pregnant is probably playing on your emotions as well. :)
Just keep this thought in the back of your head: "We're on the back side of the semester." :balloons:
This week was pretty good....I feel like I got to do alot more and was more comfortable with it....the nurses there like us, but not our CI - they've been really good to work with and guide us. My nurse the first week was better, but the floor I was on this time gave me more choices of things to do. I like it, but I got put on prednisone yesterday for a little over a week, and I'm nervous about being in the hospital while on steroids...last time I was on them, I got EVERYTHING I came in contact with. I'll be washing like crazy and showering the instant I get home...lol...Only a few weeks left though...you can do it! At least you get a prize when the semester is over (a bouncing baby boy)! What is it that you don't like about it? Just being really tired and uncomfortable in it?
