You will use it and someday be glad you took the class. Im glad I took it when I'm reading medical literature, I understand more how they come up with these numbers and what they mean (and what they don't mean). Plus when you do nursing research you will use it and in grad school as well.
If you need any help with statistics just PM me. I took it in highschool and now I am acing it in college. I think it all depends on your teacher. Also, does your school have a tutoring type center? We have a free one that alot of the kids in my class go to and they are very helpful.
And this might be a dumb question, but do you have the expensive calculator? It's crucial to the class. In highschool I was in denial but now Im so glad to have that calculator.
Good luck
This is an accelerated class, we do 9 chapters a week on our own and have a test when we show up the next week. This coming tuesday will be my first test so I'll let you know how I do. Math has always been my weak point but I know I will pass. I just don't expect to keep my A average which is ok with me. Since I am an old F__t! of 47 I don't even remember if I had this in highschool, LOL !

I am feeling the stress from my statistics class. I am in an accelerated RN to BSN program and have just begun my final semester. The statistics class is overwhelming to me. So far I have a A average but I realize if I manage to get a C in this class I will be happy. I just don't understand why nurses are required to take the type of math that we will never use. ARGGGG sorry for the rant, I just need to get it off my chest.
