Working in another state not as a Nurse....

Nurses General Nursing

Hello, to anyone who can clarify some information for me. I am an RN and have my BSN. The company I work for has asked me to travel for them doing some health screenings. I wouldn't be working as a nurse but as the title of Healthcare Screener.

I am aware of the compact multi state license option however the state I am going to is currently pending.

Since I am going to the state for only a few days and not working as the title of A Nurse, do I need to get my license for that state to work in?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Regardless of the specific job title, the issue would be whether any of the specific activities you would be doing require licensure.

It is specifically only capillary sticks to test for lipids and glucose, as well as biometrics. All of which I have done before completing my license. No health coaching, med admin , nothing at all invasive, just data collection for physicians.

Your best source for this information wiukd be the BON of the state in which you will be working.
