I would suggest you read through several of them at your school's library for a few months, then subscribe to the one that seems to suit you best. Some of them are over-specialized, others seem to be aimed at a high-school mentality, etc. There are enough of them, that you are sure to find one that is reasonably useful to you.
I don't know if you are interested in critical care, but the Critical Care Nurse and American Journal of Critical Care are very informative.
There is a student membership to the American Assn of Critical Care Nurses and you can get a free subscription to these journals. You can check on it at http://www.aacn.org
If you join the NSNA, you get a discount on your subscription to AJN. I think you can get discounts on RN and Nursing as well.
Good luck with your studies.

Hi All,
I have subscribed to "Nursing" before and found it "adequte". However, as a student who is also working, I don't have a lot of time to for reading outside my text books. :-)
Which one publicaton do you feel will give me the most current information in nursing and future trends (i'e., AJN, Nursing, RN, etc., etc.)?
Thanks,
Jim
