Which job?

I'm currently applying for 3 different positions: Occupational Health Nurse (I would still have a supervisior that handles most Workers Comp issues), nurse in a Neurology office where I'd be working with 2 doctors, and also MDS coordinator. I need a job since my current one is cutting back. Just for fun, I'm just curious of some opinions of which job some of you think would be the most interesting, least stressful, and opportunity for the most career growth. I've been to the forums for each specialty and found some great information. I have no experience in either, but I think I would like either position and don't know what I would do if I get accepted to more than one. Hopefully I will get one of them though.They are all 8-5 M-F. Which would you choose given just the info above?

Neuro Office.

Neuro office here to. One really cushy job would be a coumadin clinic nurse. I was on the stuff for a year due to a DVT and what an easy job she had. A nice M-Th with a half day on Friday. Weekends and holidays off. She made 39 bucks an hour too.:heartbeat

Neuro office. Read some of the stories about MDS coordinators being pulled to work on the floor and lack of support in getting the assessments done. Have worked in Occ Hlth and did not like the forced involvement when an employee ended up getting drawn and quartered in a courtroom for criminal charges stemming from his disability case. It was like the higher ups went crazy when they smelled his blood and it ended up on the local TV station. Turned me off.

Wow. I'm actually suprised no one has said Occupational Health Nurse. I was leaning towards that b/c it's a little closer to home 20min vs 30min and I wouldn't have doctors hovering over me. I have actually talked to the lady that would hire me and think I have this one, but now you all have me thinking harder about waiting to check the neuro out (probably a lot of competition though). I've always found neurology fascinatining. Thanks for the insight caliotter3 and everyone else. :rolleyes:

All my interviews have gone well, but wanted to say you guys were sooooo right about the OHN. Everything they told me in the second interview translated to "you don't want this job," "you don't want this job," and "you don't want this job." And I really thought I did. I have a feeling it may just be the company though. Wish me luck on the neurology office (interview went well I think) and an office manager position for a doctor's office, which I also think I'd like.
