Does anybody have any they would like to share?

Here are some of mine:

Whenever my grandmother had leg cramps, she would wrap her leg very tightly in saran wrap. It worked like a charm.

If your hair is greying at the roots and you don't have time to dye it, rub ground coffee (of course only for brunettes) into the roots. They will cover up enough grey untill you have time to get your hair done.

Itching like crazy? Take out the vinegar and pour on itchy spots. You might smell bad, but at least the itching stops.

I know their are a lot more, but my brain how ceased to recall any more at this time.

How about yours?

THANKS :)

:D

baking soda cures a lot of ills: make a paste with water and apply to "bug bites" to decrease itching. Heck, I put it in bath water after a day at the lake to get rid of "chiggers". Do you have those in your countryside? Itchy little devils.

rubbing a bar of soap on an insect bite will immediately relieve itching

just heard this..

so can't say if it'll work

If losing your hair and have patchy spots where scalp shows through, use eyeshadow the color of your hair to color your skin. Makes the scalp showing through much less noticiable.

Please, everyone, do not mention the Lysol douche that was the subject of a thread earlier this week. It grossed me out!

Well, apparantly if you put a potato in your lady parts it simultaneously acts as birth control AND cures a prolapsed uterus.

Not that I'd know or anything.

:D

And what, exactly, is wrong with wanting your femininity to smell as dainty as a forest? Oh, woe, would that we all had your nonchalance about personal hygeine... ;)

NICU_Nurse,

LMOA!!!

I also heard that if you put plain unflavored yogurt into your lady parts, it will cure a yeast infection (haven't tried that one!)

Now is that a Redskin potato an Idaho baker, or some other kind? Obviously the sizes are different. Although I have seen some very large Redskins. Also the texture is different-does it matter? And Tubers on the outside... Inqiring minds REALLY want to know. Also how long is it left in? Skinned or unskinned? SEE-lots of questions that you did not answer. And I guess my femininity can smell like a forest-heck you can pick frrom blueberry, cherry, peach etc etc. I just dont want a Lysol douche!!!!!!

Ah, yes, the sizes are different, as are the women who are employing this tried-and-true technique. You see? God provides for EVERYONE.

The key, see, is to let the tubers grow INSIDE of you. The longer the potato is in there, the more effective it is. Generally, you should leave it in until the tubers wrap themselves around your legs and leave you unable to walk...that's what I've heard, anyway.

The yogurt. Eat the yogurt. Not the potato.

The potato goes in your hoo-hoo. Pay attention!!! :D
