So nice to hear those words..

Nurses General Nursing

Ok so I'm still an unemployed new grad despite having 4 very strange:eek: interviews...but anyway I decided to look into other states for one.in Central Illinois(peoria) (I'm originally from Chicago suburbs),Iowa,Indiana,South Carolina,Wisconsin,New Mexico,Nebraska,South Dakota,NY,and of course good old Texas...of course I dont want to move but it seems like I dont really have too much choice right now...anyway today I have spoken to a recruiter from Methodist Hospital (they also have one location in Peoria,Central Illinois even their main location is in Texas) and I told her that I only have an associate (before applying I wanted to make sure that they consider ADN nurses) But to my surprise the HR was very pleasant and said they dont really distinguish between ADNs and BSNs...

It is nice to hear those words especially during the Era of uneployment and scarce job opportunities for new grads...

I guess I wanted to send the vibes of encouragement to all the new grads who are struggling to find their first nursing position.

Anyway I would like to thank all the nurses who stepped in and shared with us new grads the lists of all hospitals in different states that are currently hiring new nurses (I'm reffering to the section First year after licensure) ..thank thank you..the information you provided was/is a tremendous help as well as a light of hope, may god bless you and have a peacefull thanksgiving dinner

Let us know when u get a job, happy thanksgiving to you too!!:icon_hug:
