If I get licensed in a different state by endorsement, (neither are NLC states) will I lose my ability to practice in my home state?

i may relocate to second state but don't want to lose license in home state. Thank you!

As long as you keep your home state licensure active by paying the renewal fees and completing any applicable CEUs, you will not lose the ability to practice there.

You can certainly have licenses in different states. I have mine in Nebraska and Minnesota. However, I lost my multi-state license for Iowa (in Nebraska, when I was licensed and declared my home state of Nebraska, I could work in Iowa too) when I declared my home state of Minnesota. So, you could lose your dual-state license if your state does that. It wasn't a big deal to me, though.

Just pay the fees and keep up with your CEU's and you're golden.

You will still have your RN license in your home state! You just have to renew both licenses when it comes time if you want both to be active.
