Thanks for letting us know this; all nurses should know who positively portrays nurses in a good light, and gives us the 'warm fuzzies' instead of the 'cold pricklies'.
Johnson and Johnson is also airing a commercial (don't know if its cable or network TV) about the positive aspects of nursing, with real nurses, and it also has lots more on its website. This is a start; I wish change wasn't so slow, but what do they say, "good things happen to those who wait?" I think their website is http://www.johnsonandjohnson.com or something like that. Their being so large, it shouldn't be hard to find, and the e-mail address for comments on their health care site is:[email protected]
I'd send along coments, as everyone wants and needs feedback; I'll get to the Ladies Home Journal article, too. Thanks for pointing that out.

I would encourage everyone to check out the July issue of Ladies' Home Journal. It has an article called "Nurses Know Best." It's filled with health care advice from nurses, with their names and positions listed. It includes things like "make sure everyone who examines you washes his or her hands." I think it's an article that gives good information to the public and presents nurses in a very positive light. The author calls nurses the "real experts." Susan
