Hi.. i just graduated from a nursing school and they require to take the PN CAPS test from ERI. I was wondering if it is really necessary to be able to take the NCLEX and if it is, is there a reviewer available?

I don't know what the PN CAPS is, but I didn't have to take that test (obviously) before taking the NCLEX-PN.

We have to take it in my program as an exit exam. It is a comprhensive exam covering all subject matter studied in your LPN program that simulates the pn nclex and it serves as predictor on how well you will do on the pn nclex exam

It was too many years ago for me to recall the name of the specific test, but yes we also had to take a test at the end. It was helpful to show in what areas we were strong in and what areas we needed to brush up before taking our nclex to be licensed to practice.

We took the comprehensive review test from ATI - I think it had 180 questions. However, we weren't required to pass the CRT to graduate.
