I mentioned earlier that I was considering a for profit LPN school. I am in my late thirties and want very much to ultimately be an RN. Here is what I have figured out:
LPN program pros: will be an lpn by 4/14 for sure unless *I* screw up price($18000 is not as horrible as some I have seen) can get financial aid
cons: 45 minutes away(although clinicals might be closer), have read some really ugly reviews about this place

For Profit + $18,000 + UGLY REVIEWS = Run as fast as you can.Do not pass Go.

What are your other options? What is your plan b? and c?
