I believe that the majority of nurses simply do not know enough about their Nurse Practice Act. It's certainly the case for my organization. That is the reason that my state BON is requiring a Jurisprudence update for licensure or renewal. It's only a 2 hour overview, but hopefully, it will make a difference.
