HI Can anybody share their experience on the best way to stop chewing tobacco. How did you stop? How long did it take for the nicotine to be out of your system? What test did you buy to make sure you were nicotine free before applying for jobs?

Any information that any of you can share would be super helpful!!! Thanks !!!

Half-life of cotinine is 15-20 hours, with a range of 10-27 hours.

I thought it would take longer to have nicotine/cotinine out of your system. Are you sure? Thank you

Do you understand what "half life" means, and how that translates to clinically detectable amounts of substance in your system?

When I do a cotinine test on my prospective transplant candidates, it goes back 90 days.
