new nurse-getting a job in the hospital..post interview

[COLOR=#000000]I have only one year of experience in the us as a nurse and graduated out of the country andgot liscensed.I interviewed for a mental health position. I feel the interview wentwell-I was interviewed by two nurses from different floors in the mental healthdepartment. They told me that I wouldn't fit in there floors because its acute-andthey need nurses with more experience.They told me that they would forward my applicationto another nurse manager in mental health...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=#000000]Should I call her and ask about my application or wait onher to contact me...its been a week.

Should I start with working at a TCU--I am currently working in two group homes and I feel like hospitals prefer TCU or nursing home experience..

started working at a TCU now...hope it increases my chances..
