Hello
OMG Im having a Dr Phil moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well kinda!
I am oddly worried that nursing maybe just my dream and not my reality...I have a case of the "BUTTER FINGERS".This is not a joke.I am really worried that I may fail or lose hope of pursing nursing because the fear of dropping important equipment or tools....lord knows..maybe even people...lol...(had to laugh)
..I think maybe im worried too much because when i think of nursing....i think you have to be sturdy and focused and intelligent....not clumsy...Am I just overreacting? Or is this a real concern?PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR INSIGHT!:trout:
I've done it many times, and it happens...just don't say oops....
2 cases...
1. tonight, I went down to pull up a recliners footrest....and split went my pants...for the rest of the night had to pin them closed.
2. Dropped water all over a patient when I was changing the liner at 2am....was a doctor's mom no less!!!! YIKES!
it happens, the trick is not to pay too much attention.

Half the people I work with are total klutzes!! I have dropped things, tripped, and ran into things more times than I can count! I was joking around one time that you know its bad when you patient has to catch you :)
