I know this isn't exactly a nursing degree but, it is in the medical field. So, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but, I have a question about a class I may be taking this summer. The class, medical terminology may also apply to other nursing degrees but, anyways. I've been considering taking medical terminology over the summer it's only available the summer a part of the summer semester.

Anyways, I was wondering if taking medical terminology for only part a of the summer semester is advisable or not. Or would be better to take it for the full fall semester?

Are you asking about medical transcribing or medical terminology? You titled your post 'medical transcribing,' but the body of your post is asking for advice about a medical terminology class.

Since learning medical terminology involves rote memory, I think you'll be fine taking it during the summer if you have no major distractions happening outside of school. Good luck to you!

Med term for a summer semester was very doable for me. Memorize the prefixes, suffixes, and root words and you'll do fine. I did mine online in a 7 week block.
