License by Endorsement in California

I am going through the process of getting my license endorsed to California. I am currently in Illinois. I have an Illinois Nursing license. My question is, do I have to send in 2 fingerprint hard cards? Or, is it okay to just send 1 fingerprint hard card? I received 2 hard cards in the mail from CA, but I only got my fingerprints done on 1 card. Thanks!

Are you an International educated RN or a US educated RN. Your best bet would be to check with California BON

California Board of Registered Nursing

I'm a US educated RN. I was just curious if any one had experience sending in 1 fingerprint hard card. It says on the website to send 2 fingerprint hard cards. I'm probably just going to go back to the police station tomorrow and get the second card of fingerprints done. I was just seeing if I could save myself the trip.

Trust me, if it says 2, you need to send 2. It would be silly to give them any reason to delay/discard your application for transfer.

I agree with you. I am going to go back and get the other fingerprint card done tomorrow.
