letter from boards ????

OK I got a phone call today that a classmate of mine got a letter from Ohio board that she needs to send in her finger print background check. Well the school sent those in, then I find out that more people got those letters. I did not get one.

Guess the letter also states if the background check was sent in to disregard the request. Has anybody else got this letter?? Should I be concerned I did not get the letter? I have received nothing so far. I called the boards today and left a message, I hope to hear back from them tomorrow. I sent my payment in 2 weeks ago so I hope to get my ATT maybe next week

thanks

The TX state board has sent out notices to their nurses about this. Basically they reject the fingerprints that were sent in saying that they were smudged, not good enough, etc. and want you to do it all over again. Personally I think it is just a money maker because you have to pay to have this done, but you can't argue with the board. Most likely they found something wrong with the stuff sent in to them and just want it done all over again. I wouldn't worry about it. If you didn't get a letter then you are probably ok or they just haven't gotten your letter to you yet.

Don't invite trouble. If you haven't gotten a letter than assume yours were fine. It's on them to contact you if there's a problem.

got ahold of the board today. they said it is common practice to send it out IF you downloaded the app off the website. They checked my statis and said everything is fine and ready to go. I should get my ATT next week, now I can sleep tonight.

Reason I was so upset is there is a woman whos name is one letter different than my name-Im talking her first name is exact and her last name has one letter different than mine and she is not aloud to take the PN NCLEX - I just don't want to get confused with her.
