Question for everyone. First semester is winding down, our last day in clinical is May 21 then we are off until August 27th.
My question is - barring having your own lab with mannequins, syringes, etc, etc, how do you keep from losing your skills when you have a long break? I welcome any and all suggestions - Thanks!!!

That's why I'm doing an 8 week externship this summer. Improve and keep the skills sharp.

I am doing a 10 week internship at a hospital. But obviously that isn't an option for everyone. I have to say if I wasn't doing this intern I can't say I'd be doing a lot of studying or practicing! I know some people are working on drug cards, going over need areas, etc. But I think we will quickly get back into the swing of things. Our school has a lab practice session the first week back where we test each other on our skills.
