Just Hello....I have just started my nursing courses and I'm thrilled about becoming a nurse. I have always wanted to be in the medical profession, just did not know what. I have three wonderful, healthy, intelligent, inspiring children. They have inspired me to become the person I am. I am so looking forward to becoming an RN and working in Labor & Delivery. Any useful information or comments welcome....Thank-you;)

Well may I add my congratulations to you? I, too, was inspired to become an RN when I had my kids. I thought the nurses were "angels on earth" and I determined to join their ranks. 9 years later, my dream is realized. I am an RN and I work labor and delivery, and have for 5 years. NO regrets here. I love it! Welcome to the wonderful, never-boring, challenging profession of nursing. May your days in school be productive and full of insight and learning. I honestly wish you the best of luck! Don't ever give up!---:-)
