Is this right?

  1. OK,

As most of you know I have issues with where and whom I work with.

Yesterday my boss told me that his boss was driving into our area and was going to take the people in our office (all 5 of them) out for drinks this afternoon.

I decided not to go for various reasons like I don't drink and drive and don't really feel like sitting in on their crass conversations which will surely come up. Plus, I do not feel comfortable going out to a bar with these people, etc.

So, my boss comes in a few minutes ago and says, "so you're going to stay and hold down the fort while we are all out." I said "no". He said "oh, you were planning on going home." I responded that "just because I don't drink means I have to sit here by myself the rest of the afternoon, while everyone else goes out?"

    He didn't respond.

    Like Las Vegas says, *****!!
