A nurse is reviewing the daily intake and output of a pateint sonsuming a clear deit. The urinary drainage bag denotes a total of 1,000 mL for the past 24 hours. The total intake is:

2 8-oz cups of coffee

1 16-oz serving of clear soup

1 pint of water consumed throughout the day

How much is the deficit in milliliters?

I understand that they all equal 16 oz, however I don't understand 48*30? Where did 30 come from? I need help with that please.

I don't even see a "48*30" or a "30"?? Either my mind is unclear or your question is ...or maybe both.
