Nurses General Nursing

I know nurses have so many options outside of traditional nursing, how many of you own your own business? What do you do? Would you recommend it to others? How did you get started?

I have two businesses and I think my nursing experience has been critical to my success.

Look forward to a dialogue.

Nursing has changed drastically just in the three short years I have had my RN degree. This burning desire within me to help those less fortunate than myself was not realized as I had hoped it would in nursing. Seeing so many young people coming to the ER with MI's just amazed me! The thought kept going through my head, THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY than INTERVENTION!!! In my search, I found my current business in Preventative Health. Seeing the results of those I have helped with heart disease, hyperlipdemia, diabetes and many other problems has been both rewarding and amazing. Never have I found anything so satisfying as seeing my new friends find better health and yes, a better way to achieve they financial goals than with this business. It's such fun!!!

I have my own home based business I do part time. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a change in their lives. The company I work with makes it really easy to get started. I was so surprised. This has been my light at the end of the tunnel and my only regret is that I didn't do this long ago. If you want any information you have to email me ([email protected]) and I'll gladly share my experience with anyone.

Hi! I have a part time home based business also. I love my full time job, but part time work showing people how to earn a check (for something they already do now for free)makes me feel like I'm contributing to the well being of more families than I could as a clinical nurse. I too will share details if anyone is interested.
