Iam an English Registered Nurse who enjoys following the discussions of my American colleages, but I don't understand all the abreviations and terms. How about a glossary to help the English . Many thanks.

look up above your post, the blue buttons there have one for glossary...don't worry, there are many that don't understand the abbreviations.

"Real" abbreviations, or "slang" abbreviations? ;)

It's funny how we all speak English, but we really do speak different languages sometimes! :D

Hiya,

Its lots of fun eh? Try being a US trained and long time RN then coming to the UK as a RGN.(been here almost 4 years now) I get to speak two languages LOL..

Just ask.. This is a pretty freindly place..
