I must confess I don't know why I do this but whenever my husband and I have dinner I decide to share what I thought was funny or interesting and he considers gross, such as a patient with massive diarrhea, or a good GI bleed story. Why can't husbands see the humor that we do in such cases? You would think after so many years of sharing he would be used to it, I just can't seem to stop myself, mabey it is the funny faces he makes that cracks me up. Oh well, anyone else do this?
Enema drops keep squirting through my spincter
But that doesn't mean my colon will soon be turning red
Diarhhea is not for me, because
I'm never gonna have a BM without a digital
So I just did me some talking to the nurse
And I said I didn't like the way he got things done
Sleeping on my am care
those
Enema squirts keep going through my colon they keep squirting
But there is one thing, I know
the C-diff there to greet me - won't defeat me
It won't be long till a comfort bath
steps up to greet me

My DH used to say I couldn't gross him out because he had worked in a funeral home for several years and helped pick up the pieces etc. So I just told him what I had done that night (NG with fecal matter returning), and from then on all I ever had to do was mention the conversation.
I really miss him.
