I thought this was an interesting and promising therapy, but at 1/2 million dollars per treatment :wideyed:

Interestingly, Novartis is charging a "retail" price of $475k for a single dose/treatment (the medication is given just once), but is also saying that, if the medication isn't effective within a month, there will be no charge. (And, of course, the usual Big Pharma blather about how they will work with people who need the treatment but can't afford it in order to make sure people can get the treatment they need).
