    Give them HPOs phone number they might send some reinforcements in.............more nurses..........they do nursing at strike facilites.


    I was a teamster once and we went on strike......was not pretty. Good luck.......

    It isn't nurses. We aren't allowed to strike thanks to new legislation.

    When I heard what those health care aids get paid, I am suprised that they stay in the first place. For the job that they do they should be paid more. I heard it was like 6 something an hour. Shoot, I make $12 an hour and I still have trouble making ends meet! I hope their strike helps them. Their absense may also also cause those who depend on them to appreciate them more, instead of looking down upon them as uneducated hand workers. If it doesn't, then they need to move on and find something else or maybe further their educations ( I do not believe that an aide should make more than a nurse). That said, it's not even about the computer and color TVS...the cost of living ALONE is making it damn near impossible to live on minimum wage. I pay $800 a month for a 3 room dump!
