So let me understand.. you took some kind of medication while you were

pregnant that you should not have taken? Wasn't prescribed to you? Is

that why you are being investigated? That's why CPS was called?

What is central registry?

I'm not sure where you are located, but here in the states any

sort of crime, misdemeanor, felony, whatever, has to be reported

to the Board of Nursing. Then it is up to the board to decide

what action to take. It's worse I assume, if you have never

even sat down for the test (NCLEX) to become a licensed

nurse.

I'm not sure what to tell you. I'm sorry you are going

through this. You may need legal representation.

Ok. I'm gonna go ahead and read in between some lines here. OP Used marijuana while pregnant. Popped positive on a UA done during delivery. Somehow this got to CPS. Investors discover other issues. Now she's concerned about being on the child abuse registry? Or maybe a criminal case forming?

Seriously OP please give more of the story is you want more of the answers. Also I'm sure your a super person. No need to repeat in over and over. Just the facts.

Sorry I'm just extremely overwhelmed, the case has been closed already and I want to appeal their findings that's the only thing that they found and are reporting abuse for.

We cannot give legal advice but it sounds like you need a lawyer to appeal. Best of luck. Nurses are held to a *much* higher standard than regular humans.

So what did you find out? Can you work? I'm being investigated. It's been a nightmare. I'm in nursing school and plan to work in TX. I've talked to one BON lawyer who isn't sure about being on the central registry. Only knows it's a problem if there is a criminal charge.

I'm still sitting around waiting I told the board and they don't care because I wasn't criminally charged for anything. But I don't know how it's going to affect my fingerprint clearence card. I'm so sorry I wish you the best through this. These people are corrupt and rude especially if you're of color. They always had something new drug tested me MULTUPLE times for the same result even cut my damn hair for the same result. The system is corrupt and I'm sure they get a thrill making people feel like they're criminals and that they're terrible parents. Keep me updated!

Oh my....

Look. It's not my place to comment on the specifics to your situation, mostly because I don't know you or your situation. However if you keep thinking that someone is out to get you and not accepting the situation for what it is and doing what you have to do to fix it your never gonna get out from under this.

Looking back from your previous posts your recently licensed, potentially criminally charged, and possibly on the child abuse registry. I'm assuming your license came through, if you have stipulations you have to comply with them, to the letter 1000%. If you're lucky enough to have an unemcumbered license then you have to determine if you pop on the child abuse registry, pay for a background check on yourself directly from the state. If you have a flag you have to determine if it prohibits you from employment. If it does then you have to stick to settings that do not require a child abuse clearance so LTC, dialysis, and maybe psych. Get a nursing job lay down some good experience and background, and get money to hire a lawyer to advise you how to do damage control to this situation, if anything can be done at this point.

I know it sucks when the entire system is working against you, not for you. Being bitter and fighting it is not going to help you in the long run. Trust me...I know.

Did you do a declaratory order to notify the BON? How do they know about your situation? Are you concerned that you can keep your license but not find employment?
