Talk with your school guidance/career counselor.
Visit a nearby medical school and talk with the admissions department.

How about you talk w/a pediatrician to hear specifically what he/she had to do to become one.

You can also look into becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Talk with your guidance counselor... that's what they are there for.
pediatric nurse practitioner. how many yrs in college for this one?
PNP----at LEAST 6 years in college...4 year BSN PLUS MSN-nurse practice tract. and LOTS AND LOTS OF CLINICAL HOURS. Talk to those DOING this to find out what the real deal is.
