I'm looking for some articles or links with information pertaining to the best places to receive health care in the USA. I've searched the web briefly but have come up with nothing. Anyone know of any good resources? thanks.

What about the US News rankings? They rank hospitals in lots of different specialities around the country.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Do you know of any internet links?

WooHoo! The facility I work in was ranked in the top fifty in "Heart and Heart Surgery". How cool. I love my job and we have a nice facility with caring people. It's nice to see. :)

yes, i hope to be at one of those facilities soon! :)

Nursing-wise look for hospitals with Magnet designation. It is a national recognition program that hospitals apply for, specifically nursing

Inquire how the rankings are done. I worked for a surgeon once who submitted his own bio. Once it was printed in one newspaper, he used that as a reference. Got listed lots of time in lots of magazines, etc. when really he did no more than any other surgeon in town.

Specializes in Hospice specialty.

cool, my fall clinical in rated #4 pedi hospitals:)

Hmmm. We're always ranked in the top ten, and, uh, . . . .

Hmmm.
