Hello GCU summer applicants!
I figured someone else would have started a thread by now, but since they haven't I figured I would since the deadline is approaching in less than 2 weeks! I just wanted to know how everyone's application experience is going so far? Hopefully we can answer each others questions and this thread can serve as a place to share experiences especially while waiting for decisions.
I have my background check completed, my fingerprinting is in process, and I'm taking the HESI this week. I am super nervous!
I can't wait to hear from any of you who are applying! Don't be shy :) and good luck everyone!
Yes that is correct, go to any of the community colleges and talk to a nursing adviser because they will give you a list of things that you need to submit such as official transcripts, I think a copy of your bachelors diploma, financial aid, and the HESI tests. If you want tot get into the CEP program you have to enroll for the nursing program and get on the waiting list but ask the nursing adviser that you are interested in the CEP Program they have with NAU, ASU and the other university (I forgot the name :)). Tuition for NAU is 10800 for the entire program and for ASU is 25000. It's a pretty good deal and they require a 3.0 GPA.
Hope it helps!
So I emailed my advisor just checking in and she said she doesn't know anything and that I should just watch the webinar next Friday! So disappointed. I went the info session for the CEP program at Estrella and if I had to go that route, I wouldn't graduate until end of fall 2017. I pray daily that I get accepted to GCU!

So what is the deal with the CEP programs? I have a BS already, so would I need to submit an application to ASU/NAU along with the Maricopa application? My only hesitation with the MCCCD stuff is that it can take like 6-8 semesters, but I've heard with CEP if you get in you can start right away.
