I figured someone else would have started a thread by now, but since they haven't I figured I would since the deadline is approaching in less than 2 weeks! I just wanted to know how everyone's application experience is going so far? Hopefully we can answer each others questions and this thread can serve as a place to share experiences especially while waiting for decisions.
I have my background check completed, my fingerprinting is in process, and I'm taking the HESI this week. I am super nervous!

The summer program is canceled, and potentially every fast-track program in the future at GCU. This is so messed up. I cannot even grasp my mind around it. I feel like they have known for weeks, if not months, that they were going to do this. And they could not even let us know? Other deadlines for programs have passed and we have just been waiting around like idiots really.
Lol what a joke, this is ridiculous. Found out this morning through the grapevine. Attending an info session to find out the steps for the CEP stuff at Gateway tonight at 5pm, there's another one on Thursday! If this is how they conduct business, maybe it's a good time to walk away now because this is NOT good news for their nursing program.
this is so very disappointing... Have you tried to look into Chamberlain college of Nursing. They are regionally accredited like ASU, NAU and GCU? I know it's a bit more expensive but it's worth looking into.
I got an OFFICIAL reply from my original nursing advisor. It's real. This is my nightmare. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason but they should have had the decency to tell us sooner. I knew something was up when they first changed the application deadline. Well here I go signing up for the classes I need for the CEP program. Sorry girls
