Hello GCU summer applicants!
I figured someone else would have started a thread by now, but since they haven't I figured I would since the deadline is approaching in less than 2 weeks! I just wanted to know how everyone's application experience is going so far? Hopefully we can answer each others questions and this thread can serve as a place to share experiences especially while waiting for decisions.
I have my background check completed, my fingerprinting is in process, and I'm taking the HESI this week. I am super nervous!
I can't wait to hear from any of you who are applying! Don't be shy :) and good luck everyone!
I have received the same email and I feel so discouraged... I am praying they decide soon... I's very nerve wracking. I hope we can all hear from GCU soon. One weird thing that my admissions rep said is that the admittance will come through an email and that they will not send out letters anymore.
I just emailed my advisor does anyone know about this information session. I attended one last year when I applied
Did you attend it a month before classes were due to start? I think this one is different because we won't know if we were accepted yet?
Please let us know when you hear something from your advisor.
yes I attended one right before classes started in the fall but I applied for the spring semester. I was put on the alternate list but they let us know by October 15th which was 2.5 months to get ready for classes. This year is different when we find out on March 27th that will only give us a month to prepare. Just nervous that's all
I am so nervous I keep looking at different threads to see what others went through. It seems like they have never done this before. My GPA is not the best, I have a 3.2 GPA and my overall HESI Score was 82%. God please help us all...
All the other semesters they found out over 2 months before classes started. I have not gotten a response from my advisor through email. I am super worried as well.

I hope they let us know soon...this is so nerve racking and on top of that it doesn't leave us much time to get all our stuff done before classes start
