Hey everyone!!
I am applying to GCU for the Fall Fast Track program at the AT Still campus, but I heard it is super hard to get in as a transfer, especially at the AT Still campus. Wanted to reach out and see if there are any other GCU transfer hopefuls? Wondered if we could compare stats, tips, desired campuses, etc. :) I am just so nervous!
YES! ugh it is so frustrating. I was told that as a transfer, I couldn't actually talk to a nursing advisor so I have been dealing with a 'transfer' advisor. He has been really great though and seems to keep me up to date on what he thinks is happening. I'm keeping my head above water, but trying not to get my hopes up too high as a transfer unfortunately. From what I know, not sure how true, the Hesi score changed from a 75% to a 70% with a 3.25 GPA, and they are accepting applications in tiers. So, tier one is all GCU, tier 2 is 12+ credits at GCU, tier 3 is one semester at GCU and tier 4 is all transfers lol. I have also heard that tier 4, all the transfers, is now a lottery. So, they essentially just put everyones name in a hat and draw however many more slots they have left :/. good for the people who are barely scraping by, bad for the transfers who worked their butts off for good GPA etc in hopes that would put them high on the list. I'll keep everyone posted on if I hear more/different next week! Is everyone listening to the webinar on Tuesday?

The lottery won't be like that tile next year. It's actually going to happen like this (according to the webinar)
Tier 1: GCU students with GPA of 3.49 or higher and a HESI higher than 80%.
Tier 2: GCU students with GPAs at 3.25-3.49 and HESI score at 70%
Tier 3: transfer students with 3.49 or higher GPA and High HESI score
Tier 4: Transfer students with a 3.25 and 70% HESI will be a lottery

Oh ok. When I told my GCU advisor she said it didn't matter if I had that scholarship.
They say we will find out 4 weeks after the deadline
